Bobby Simmons has always been a man dedicated to reaching back, and this year has started fundraising in ernest, kicking off with a highly succesful day of Golf with Chicago business leaders.

To name a few, Tom Marcham - GM from Westmont Mercedes, Otis Wilson - ex Linebacker for Chicago Bears, Terry Stotts - Head Coach for Milwaukee Bucks, White Boy James - CEO Legit Ballin’, Bobby Simmons - Milwaukee Bucks for The Rising Stars Foundation and even my little newphew joined in this great event.

Hey there, a little belated but wanted to share this with you guys! This is a pic of me at the meeting of The Ready To Learn Partnership (RTLP) a few weeks ago in Chicago, with Maggie Daly, the wife of Mayor Richard Daly, the CEO of WTTV, and the guy with the beard is John Lee, Chairman of RTLP. The RTLP is a great new company dedicated to advancing literacy in those areas where the need is greatest. I’ve been advising them on key aspects of their outreach program, because never forget–I am the voice of the inner city!

Wed., May 24th, we’re having our big book bash in conjunction with Rolls Royce Beverly Hills in Los Angeles. Burrel Streetwise will be joining a group of very elite exhibitors, as the new $1.2m Bugatti is unveiled. I can’t wait to see it myself, and I’ll be keeping y’all posted!
