As you know, I’m a passionate advocate for our youth. I believe that so many kids who get caught up in gangs, gang-related trouble, or just simply lose their direction, would find a way out if they only knew how. My life story is a ‘blueprint’ for finding some of those answers. My personal life story and honest account of the struggles I faced, helps kids understand that life is a journey–sometimes a tough one–but one where with focus, strength of will and drive a journey everyone can navigate with success.

In order to continue to positively impact our youth I needed to make myself more widely available. So this week Burrel Streetwise Inc. launched a new kind of website called Streetwise Speaking. Check it out at www.streetwisespeaking.com and pass it onto anyone who may be involves with youth. It has a ton of very valuable links on the resources pages regards kids and gangs, and associated issues such as addiction, graffiti, drugs and crime. It also list a number of support groups.
